Something truly amazing just happened in the world of contemporary design cabinetry. Colors! Over two hundred colors to be exact. Wood Mode has just introduced a very exciting and enormous design capability into its popular cabinetry line the use of back painted glass in the Vanguard door style and an aluminum framed door. What does all of that mean? I hoped you’d ask. That means that decorators, designers, and consumers of the Wood Mode line of cabinetry are now able to use a huge color library to select unique combinations of colors to reflect their style and design. Combining the durability of tempered glass with the depth of color that comes from paint applied to the back of a matte or gloss finish glass surface, Vanguard takes on a contemporary elegance that today’s discerning customer demands. Mounted to an aluminum frame that is visible along the edges but not from the front, the back painted glass has a clean uninterrupted appearance. The frame is offered in two finishes, anodized or brushed aluminum which has the look of stainless steel. While the Standard Colors are White and Black with an Anodized Aluminum Frame, a range of over 170 Non-Standard Colors as well as a selection of over 40 “Metallic” Non-Standard Colors are available on both matte and gloss finish glass. Our Aluminum Framed Glass Doors for both Wood-Mode Design Group 84 and Brookhaven I will be taking on a new look. The current frame is 23mm wide and will be replaced with a new frame that is 19mm wide. An additional 2-1/8” wide frame will also be available. Both frame widths can be ordered in an anodized finish or a brushed finish which has the appearance of stainless steel. The inserts are available in Clear, Satin, Listral and Mirror, all of which are tempered. With this exciting announcement Wood Mode is ushering in a new era of design possibilities for contemporary and modern lifestyles and projects. These new designs would work for both residential and commercial applications. Come in and take a peak at these new products today! The pictures below depict a new lifestyle board from Wood Mode called, Universal Elements, which showcase backpainted glass doors.
